DIVIDEND: TEM: Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC ("TEMIT")

Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC

The Directors propose an ordinary dividend of 3.75 pence per Ordinary Share.

If approved by shareholders at the AGM, to be held on 23 July 2010, the

dividend will be payable on 28 July 2010 to shareholders on the register at

close of business on 25 June 2010.
