GENERAL: DPC: Dorchester confirms no exposure to Bridgecorp
Dorchester Pacific Limited has confirmed to the market that it has no
shareholding or commercial relationship with Bridgecorp Limited (in
receivership).
Bridgecorp at no time had any managerial or board level involvement or
influence on Dorchester Pacific Limited during the period in which it was a
shareholder in Dorchester Pacific. The Bridgecorp shareholding in Dorchester
was sold in April 2007 to a number of investors, including Auguste Finance
Limited.
CEO of Dorchester, Mr Andrew Walker, said: "Dorchester Pacific Limited has
solid cash reserves and a balanced business portfolio. As one of the few
finance companies listed on the New Zealand Exchange, we provide high levels
of transparency in our business operations and have prudent lending policies
in line with our duties to our shareholders and debenture holders."
