CORPACT: GFL: Geneva Announces March 20 final dividend
Geneva Finance announces final dividend for 31 March 20 year.
The board have resolved to declare a final dividend of 1.50 cents per share.
The dividend will be payable on 29th July 2020. The ex dividend date will be
23rd July 2020 and record will be 24th July 2020.
Managing Director, David O'Connell advised, "The Geneva board resolved to
approve the 1.50 cents per share dividend, reduced from 2.25 cents per share
paid last year, in response to the uncertainties the finance industry is
facing in the post covid-lockdown period." He then further commented. "Once
there was greater clarity as to the impact covid was having on the wider
economy and the finance sector in particular, the board would reassess the
prudence of increasing returns to shareholders to prior year levels"
