S&P credit rating outlook change
Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) notes that S&P Global Ratings (S&P) has revised the
credit rating outlook for BNZ to negative from stable. This follows the
decision by S&P to revise the rating outlook to negative from stable for
Australia's four major banks (including BNZ's ultimate parent, National
Australia Bank Limited).
S&P has affirmed BNZ's 'AA-' long-term and 'A-1+' short-term issuer credit
ratings. All other ratings remain unchanged.
